ROVR Network Secures $2.6M Seed Funding for Decentralized 3D Mapping Protocol
ROVR Network, a blockchain-native platform developing decentralized high-definition 3D mapping, has closed a $2.6 million seed round co-led by Borderless Capital and GEODNET. Angel investors and IoTeX also participated.
The funding will accelerate the deployment of ROVR’s decentralized 3D mapping protocol, which combines LiDAR and Real-Time Kinematic positioning to deliver centimeter-accurate geospatial data. The technology targets the autonomous vehicle industry and Spatial AI research.
As the first DePIN project to merge these technologies, ROVR aims to create a community-powered network for regulatory-compliant, street-level mapping. The protocol could redefine data collection standards for mobility and AI applications.
